Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-02-26
The Short Version
VulWall continuously scans your public-facing infrastructure to help you find and fix security issues before attackers do. You are responsible for only scanning domains you own or have permission to scan. We work hard to deliver accurate results, but no tool catches everything. Use our service responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws.
What VulWall Does
VulWall is an automated security scanning service. We help you identify potential vulnerabilities in your public-facing infrastructure by analyzing:
- Domain and subdomain configurations
- SSL/TLS certificates and encryption
- Security headers and web server settings
- Open ports and exposed services
- Known vulnerabilities (CVEs) in detected software
VulWall performs non-intrusive external security scanning. This includes DNS lookups, SSL/TLS analysis, TCP port scanning, HTTP request-based vulnerability detection, and security header analysis. We access only publicly reachable services and do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, gain unauthorized access, or perform denial-of-service testing. Our scanning may be detected by intrusion detection systems and WAFs on the target infrastructure. This is normal behavior for security scanning tools and does not indicate any harmful activity.
Your Responsibilities
You Must Own or Control What You Scan
By using VulWall, you confirm that for every domain you scan, you either:
- Own the domain, or
- Have explicit written permission from the owner to scan it
Scanning domains without authorization may violate laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization.
Account Security
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your password, and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use VulWall to scan domains you don't own or have permission to scan
- Attempt to bypass any security measures or rate limits
- Resell or redistribute VulWall services without permission
- Use scan results to exploit vulnerabilities or harm others
- Upload malware or attempt to compromise our systems
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Service Limitations
While we work hard to provide accurate and useful security assessments, you should understand:
- We can't find everything. No automated scanner catches 100% of vulnerabilities. VulWall is a tool to help improve security, not a guarantee of it.
- Results are point-in-time. Your security posture can change. Regular scanning is recommended.
- False positives happen. Some findings may not apply to your specific configuration. Always verify before acting.
- No single tool catches everything. VulWall provides the continuous monitoring layer that periodic penetration tests cannot. Together, they form a comprehensive security program.
Data Processing
We take data protection seriously. When we process data on your behalf through our scanning service, we do so as a data processor under GDPR Article 28, with full contractual safeguards. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request at contact@vulwall.com. For details on what data we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy.
